First and foremost, please verify that both you and your child are using the latest available version of Xooloo Messenger on your devices.

How do you get started on Xooloo?
Begin by downloading the app to your device and filling out the requested information to create an account! at Xooloo, children have access to special features reserved especially for them. Please be careful when filling out your birth date and make sure it’s correct.
How do my parents activate my account?
During the registration process, we send an activation link to your parent’s phone. Ask them to click on the link to activate your account.
What happens once my account is activated by my parent?
Once a parent activates your account, you’ll be able to chat with your friends! Make video or audio calls, or send text messages and Tartomails (Xooloo’s custard pies!). You can also style your Xavatar with wonderful accessories.
How can I add a friend on Xooloo Messenger?
On your “Invite” page, enter your friend’s phone number, email or Xooloo ID! Once a friend accepts your invitation, their Xavatar will appear on your “Contacts” page.
What’s a Xooloo ID for?
Not everyone has a SIM card or phone number. A Xooloo ID lets you use Xooloo Messenger even without one!
Where can I find my Xooloo ID?
Your Xooloo ID is available on the top of your “Profile” page within the app.
Can I use Xooloo Messenger if I don’t have a SIM card?
Yes, you can! All you need is a WiFi connection and a Xooloo ID.
What is a Xavatar?
A “Xavatar” is an avatar that represents you on Xooloo Messenger! You can switch up the look of your Xavatar any time. (And even save your favorite looks for later use!)
Can I create a group chats?
Yes! Go to the “Messages” page and click on “New Group” in the upper right hand corner. Choose which friends you’d like to add to the group and click on “OK”.
How can I send Tartomails (Xooloo’s custard pies!) or others animations to my friends?
Click on your friend’s Xavatar from within a conversation on the “Messages” page.

How do I validate my child's account?
When your child creates an account, they are required to provide a parent’s phone number. A link is then sent to your device. Click on the link to validate your child’s account.
How can I chat with my child?
First, install the latest version of Xooloo Messenger on your device and create your account by providing the requested information. Once your account is created, you can invite your child to chat by navigating to the “Invite” page and entering his or her Xooloo ID. (Or, have your child invite you using your unique Xooloo ID.) Please note that it is not possible to install two accounts on the same device. Your child’s account must be installed on their own device, and your account must be installed on yours.
How do I add myself as my child's parent?
The parent who approved your child's account must add you as a parent. They can do this from their own account’s profile page, or from the Parent's Space on xooloo-messenger.com
Can I have both my account and my child's account installed on my device?
No, it is not possible to install two accounts on the same device. Your child's account must be installed on the device they are using, and your account must be installed on your own device.
How do I log out?
It is not possible to log out. If your device should be associated with a different account, please uninstall and re-install the app. This will allow you to create or login from a new account.
When my child clicks on “forgotten password,” I do not receive their password
The password is only sent to the parent who has validated the account.
How do I install my child's account on another device or additional devices?
An account can be installed on multiple devices so that your child can find their friends and conversations regardless of the device used. To use an existing account on multiple devices, you must first write down your Xooloo ID and create a password by going to the "Profile" page within the app. When you download the app on a new device, select "I already have an account.” Enter your Xooloo ID and password to connect to your existing account. (Click on "Forgotten password" if no password has been created or if the password has been forgotten.)
I am not notified when I receive a message from my child
Please make sure you have enabled notifications in your device settings.
I can't see my child when I make a video call
To make a video call, you must enable the camera in your device settings.
I can't hear my child when I make an audio call
To make an audio call, you must enable the microphone in your device settings.
